The medicinal applications of the are widely reported literature, using bark, leaves flowers healing agents. Given economic, ecological importance, this work aimed to present systematic review production, conservation status knowledge about different fields knowledge. literature was based on seven categories, characterized according study area: biological and/or activity (32 articles), importance (29), botanical aspects (18), phytochemistry (9), geographic (8), foraging (5) uses (2). Most works address species, application focused antitumor action, treatment against Chagas disease, antinociceptive behavior, antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory antiproliferative action.
